Dixie Carter of Designing Women died over the weekend. This clip from the show(sorry about the quality) seems incredibly dated now, but in the 1980's, when the Regan administration couldn't even say the word "AIDS," this scene was quite daring. Dixie Carter was married for many years to actor Hal Holbrook.
I remember this episode. You are right about it seeming dated, but the sad thing is that people still think like Imogene.
